Parkview sure is excited to see all of our students!!!! Students are encouraged to bring their supplies with them to Meet the Teacher Night.
Note: 6th grade orientation is a time for incoming 6th graders to be in the building to meet their teachers, walk their schedules, figure out their lockers, and ask any questions they may have before Meet the Teacher. If you can't make it during this time, it's okay!
See you all soon!!! Go Braves!!

Dear Parkview Parents,
We need your input! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our school, we are asking all parents to take the Illinois 5Essentials Survey. This survey provides valuable insights into our school’s strengths and areas for growth, directly influencing decisions that impact students, teachers, and families.
Currently, only 16% of our parents have completed the survey, and we need at least 20% participation for our results to be counted. Your voice matters—your feedback helps shape the learning environment and overall experience for all students at Parkview.
The survey is completely anonymous and takes just 10 minutes to complete. You can access it here:
The Illinois 5Essentials Survey focuses on five key areas linked to student success:
✅ Effective Leaders – How well is our school led?
✅ Collaborative Teachers – Are teachers supported and working together effectively?
✅ Involved Families – How strong is family engagement in our school?
✅ Supportive Environment – Do students feel safe and supported?
✅ Ambitious Instruction – Is the teaching rigorous and engaging?
Your feedback directly impacts school improvement planning, ensuring we continue to provide the best possible education for your child.
Please take a few moments to complete the survey today. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. Thank you for being an essential part of our school community!
