CUSD #20 will hold a special board meeting Monday, August 9 at the LHS cafeteria at 7:00 pm to finalize our reopening plan. Community members are invited to attend the meeting to hear and discuss the plan.
Parkview will have a "Back to School Bash" orientation/swim party on Tuesday, August 17, starting at 5:00 pm at Parkview. This will be a great time for your students and guardians to eat a pork burger, view the building and then students can swim with friends at the pool.

CUSD #20 on-line registration will be Monday, July 26 through Friday, July 29. Parents of RETURNING students can log into their Teacherease account to register. Parents of NEW students need to call the school office to get access to their Teacherease account to enter information. NEW students and parents need to meet with school nurses on Thursday July 28 (between 1:00 and 7:00) or Friday, July 29 (between 8:00 and 2:00) at the HIGH SCHOOL.

Remember tonight at approximately 9 pm, the LHS Student Council will be hosting a movie night on the football field. We are showing Shrek. This event is free and open to all CUSD #20 students and families. No outside food or drink is allowed, but we will have concessions available for purchase. A Movie Night sponsored by the LHS Student Council will be held Saturday, June 19th at dusk (approximately 9:00 PM) on the LHS football field. This event is FREE and open to students and families of CUSD #20. Children under 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Concessions will be sold. ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK WILL BE PERMITTED.

Notice of Public Meeting
On Monday, May 24th at 8:30am, a virtual meeting conducted by Unit #20 Special Needs office, will take place via Google Meet. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the district’s plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend private schools and home schools within the district for the ‘21-’22 school year. If you are a parent or guardian or a homeschooled student who has been or may be identified with a disability and you reside within the boundaries of Unit #20 school district, you are encouraged to attend. Tonight's LHS softball game vs Dugger has been postponed until Monday, April 26th.
REMINDER: All LHS juniors need to attend school in person tomorrow and Tuesday for Illinois State Assessment Testing, while all other LHS students will be remote learning on Monday and Tuesday. Any student wanting a lunch is asked to call the HS office by 9:00 a.m. and lunches will be available for pick up at the Main Entrance at 12:30.
