ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a drive through Beta Induction Ceremony on April 21 from 5 to 6 by the LHS office. If you are being inducted into the Beta Club for this school year, you may come and pick up your certificate at this time. If you are unable to attend or have any questions, please email Mrs. Dennison or Mrs. Tohill to make arrangements to pick up your certificate.

The Lawrence County Health Department is in need of volunteers to work the next covid vaccination clinic on February 27. Any Beta member wanting to earn service hours, or any student or person who would like to volunteer should call 6189433302 extension 1004. More details will be provided when you call. Any volunteers would be greatly appreciated. Volunteers will also be presented with a certificate of participation from the Health Department for volunteering in response to the national pandemic.

Beta Hour Sheet

Beta members are required to have ten service hours, five of them being "CLUB" hours, before Christmas Break (date has not been set). 

Reminder: "Non-CLUB" hours are not required. You are able to receive all ten hours in "CLUB". 

If you received a Beta invite for this school year and want to join, please have your form and money turned in to Mrs. Dennison or Mrs. Tohill by February 18. If you have any questions regarding Beta, please feel free to contact one of them through email or in person.
