To help ensure the safety and security of all Lawrenceville High School students, new student sign-out procedures will be in place beginning with the 2026–2027 school year.
Under the new procedure, parents and guardians must physically come into the school office to sign out their student. A valid photo ID must be presented at the time of sign-out so that office staff can verify the identity of the individual picking up the student.
In addition, any individual signing out a student must be specifically designated as an authorized person through TeacherEase. Students will not be released to anyone who is not listed as an authorized person in the system. Parents and guardians are encouraged to review their student's TeacherEase information and make sure all individuals who may need to sign out their student are properly listed.
Students who drive to school and need to leave during the school day may bring a signed note from a parent or guardian to the office by 9:00 a.m. The office will contact the parent or guardian to verify the note before the student is permitted to leave.
These procedures are being implemented to provide a consistent sign-out process and, most importantly, to help protect the safety and well-being of our students. We appreciate the cooperation of our students, families, and staff as we begin the new school year.
If you have questions regarding the student sign-out procedures, please contact the Lawrenceville High School office.
